I am a 30 year old mother of two.  Lil’ Bum who is well on her way to being 4 and Baby Bum who is currently 22 weeks.  I have been married to my perfect match for almost 7 years.  I am a Christian and I will admit God is still working on me.  Sometimes I worry he’ll give up, but he never does.

We live in a little community outside of town.  I consider us living in the country but we have several neighbors.  We live on 15 acres with our horses, cows, dogs, one cat, and the pelicans, as LB calls them, (pigeons)  that live in our barn.

I work outside the home (yuck!) but do enjoy my job in the accounting field.  You will probably catch me whining at times about not being able to stay at home but I am lucky.  My children are just a few minutes away staying at a larger in-home daycare run by a Wonderful Christian woman with Wonderful helpers that all Truly love the children.  They have structured classes but still have the “at home” feel.  Lil’ Bum has learned so much there.  I still dream of one day staying at home, but if I never do at least I know that my children are well taken care of.

So there…….a little info on me.  Tell me a little about yourself.

  1. I’m thinking your related to me somehow..Oh..I know in the “honesty dept.” I loved your post about the weight issue, you know though after we “name it” it’s supposed to not be as hard to lose it, are you finding this is true?I’ve not noticed this yet.

Congrats on the new colt, beautiful!

“Nice to meet’ya” I’m adding you to the “sister hood” on my blog, come by for a visit.

  2. Hey Sweetie! It’s your cousin, Leigh Anne. I just wanted to let you know that I missed getting to see you at the funeral, but I completely understand you having to stay home with your precious baby bum. I hope he is feeling better. I really love your website. I feel like I really have been able to catch up with you and your family. It is really nice since we live so far apart and don’t get to see each other. I have added your site to my favorites and plan to visit regularly to stay up to date with the Barn Bums. I would love to hear from you! Keep in touch!!
